Richard has more than (19) nineteen years with KPMG of which (7) seven years as Audit Partner responsible for some of the largest audits in PNG such as ANZ Bank, NASFUND, Credit Corporation, Nestle PNG, Origin Energy and the like. Richard has broad understanding of all sectors of the PNG economy. He also has thorough understanding of the insurance industry through his audits of Mitsui Marine, National Teachers Insurance Limited, Century Insurance Limited and Aon Risk Services.
Richard has over (27) twenty seven years of professional accounting, auditing and financial advisory services experience covering range of sectors including insurance, banking, superannuation, mining, oil & gas, transportation, merchandising and many more.
Richard is the recipient of the 2017 Director of the Year award by the PNG Institute of Directors. He is an independent member of the Santos Limited’s Board’s Sustainability Committee and is also on the boards of various high profile organisations including Deputy chairman of Bank of Papua New Guinea.
He is currently the President of Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) of Papua New Guinea, a position which he has held every annual election since November 2015. Richard has recently been appointed to the Board of the regional accounting body, Confederation of Asia Pacific Accountants.
